A dynamic growing company is looking for an Auto Spares Manager to join their Team. The position will require the successful candidate to be responsible for the performance and management of the parts and accessories sold within the Auto Spares Shop. This role involves overseeing commercial and organizational activities within the department
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent
Commerce college Diploma or Undergraduate Degree (Beneficial)
1-3 years of experience
Leadership skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Effective people management
Professional appearance and conduct
Customer service excellence
Business acumen
Technical knowledge
Organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales Forecasting:
Develop and implement sales forecasts
Provide input on product enhancement efforts
Marketing and Sales:
Develop and implement marketing programs
Analyze sales statistics
Meet monthly sales targets
Inventory Management:
Maintain inventory control
Implement stripping and proper placement of used spares
Ensure the correct storage of parts
Identify fast vs slow movers
Perform monthly stock takes
Develop and maintain stock barcode system
HR/Staff Management:
Provide guidance to parts staff
Ensure proper training of direct reports
Conduct staff performance reviews
Customer Service/Client Orientation:
Serve customers professionally and timely
Ensure stock availability for Brilliant Mechanical Workshop
Operational Effectiveness/Efficiencies:
Maintain a neat and organized work environment
Ensure the security of used parts
Control removal of scrap items
Maintain part codes and barcodes
Occupational Health and Safety:
Post Material Safety Data Sheets
Act as primary key-holder
Ensure the safety of customers and employees
Conduct safety meetings as required
