Responsibilities:
· Gather business requirements, build user stories, update and test insurance products
· Responsible for the product development cycle (specifications on system), which will include maintenance, new product design and enhancements
· Built core functionality with system provider to achieve strategic goals
· Manage the implementation of automated communication on the policy administration system to improve customer experience
· Built and maintain renewal programs on the system
· Co-responsibility for stakeholder relationship (insurers, service providers, adviser offices, other departments)
· Responsible for the successful implementation of system upgrades (packages, patches) within timelines· Resolving development queries
· Communicate effectively on all system changes to business
· Provide support to Training department in training material development on product, system, and processes
· Assisting departments and advisers telephonically or per e-mail, with technical enquiries
· Assist Head of department to manage sprint and BA team outcomes
· Support Head of department to prepare the reporting to the business
Skill sets required:
· NQF 4 short-term insurance qualification
· Business analyst qualification
· 5 – 7 years’ short-term insurance experience including personal lines and commercial
· Good understanding of short-term insurance policy administration systems
· SQL experience· Java experience
· Ability to interpret data and identify actionable insight
. Ability to manage BA team
Pay: R471 672,13 - R600 000,00 per year
