Cape Town Wine Hub is looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift/reach truck safely and efficiently.
- Complete daily pre-use forklift inspections.
- Load and offload trucks and shipping containers.
- Pick and move stock using scanner-based systems.
- Receive, store and put away stock in the correct warehouse locations.
- Support production by supplying materials and clearing empty packaging.
- Assist with stock counts and maintain accurate inventory.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area.
- Report any equipment faults or incidents to your supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience operating a forklift/reach truck.
- Valid forklift licence.
- Experience using warehouse scanning (scan-and-move) systems is essential.
- Good stock counting and inventory accuracy skills.
- Wine industry experience will be an advantage.
