HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATOR

We are an established International Courier Company seeking individuals to join our dynamic HR Team based in Cape Town.
Reporting to the HR Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for providing the full HR support and administrative service to the business by ensuring the proactive and preventative planning of HR interventions. The incumbent must also provide hands-on support to line and senior management in order to achieve the strategic objectives of the business.
Minimum education, experience, skills and competencies:
- Grade 12/Matric
- Relevant HR Degree
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in HR Administrator role.
- Communication – Oral and verbal: ability to convey among others clear and unambiguous messages, goals, performance requirements in a clear coherent manner. Respond appropriately to queries and requests.
- Listening – demonstrates active listening skills
- Interpersonal relationships – responds appropriately to needs and provides constructive feedback when appropriate. Displays respect to others and acknowledges diversity.
- Planning, organizing and controlling – takes accountability for own results. Demonstrates high attention to detail, is methodical in delivery of service and follows through on agreed deliverables. Has ability to conduct multiple tasks to conclusion whilst maintaining accuracy and meeting timeframes.
- Personal effectiveness – high standards of honesty and integrity, ethical, ability to exercise assertiveness when required, operates under pressure.
Key Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Talent Management – recruitment and selection and resource planning.
- Probation and Induction – facilitate the process of probation and induction of staff.
- Communication – efficient written and verbal communication both internally and externally.
- HR administration – efficient running of all administration processes.
- Performance Management – Administer the process of performance management and analysis of performance review scores.
- Employee Relations – ensure understanding and correct implementation of the disciplinary processes in the business. Liaising with unions and relevant bargaining council.
- Employment Equity – Develop employment equity plan/policy, employment equity forum and awareness to all staff.
- Skills Development and training – compile WSP and ATR, source accredited providers and administer all training.
- BBEE – ensure accurate compilation for related BBEE audit information
- HR Reporting
- Employee Benefits – administration of medical aid and provident fund
- Payroll – accurate compilation of payroll information
