Refinery, a division of Pepkor Trading (Pty) Ltd, is looking to employ a Community Manager on a 6 months Fixed term contract. The successful incumbent will be responsible to serve as the face of the company. The position is generally responsible for managing and handling communications in both directions. The incumbent is involved in various activities such as communications, public relations, social media, events and content creation.
- Assisting the marketing team to set, plan & implement the social media campaigns
- Responding to customer queries on all platforms within the required timeframe & with the appropriate tone of voice for each brand and accurate information.
- Appropriate escalation of queries/complaints with various stakeholders
- Ensure immersed and seamless brand tone
- Building relationships with the online community & managing positive/negative sentiment
- Finding new opportunities & ideas to increase community engagement
- Grade 12
- Diploma in copywriting/social media management or related fields
- 2-3 years proven experience in social media management, community management or similar fields
- Experience or insight into retail and fashion
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Reliable & motivated
- An in-depth understanding of the social media apps functionalities
- An in-depth understanding of best practice social media management with a specific focus on customer relation.
