We are looking for a caring, reliable and energetic ECD Preschool Teacher Assistant to join our preschool team.
The ideal candidate would have just graduated, should love working with young children, be patient, responsible and willing to assist the class teacher with daily classroom planning, routines, supervision, activities, cleaning, feeding and general child care support.
Working hours: Rotational shifts between two or more of the following:
- 06:30 – 17:00
- 08:00 – 18:00
- 07:00 – 17:00
- 07:00 – 17:30
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children preferred
- ECD experience is an advantage
- NQF Level 4: Entry-Level Practitioner studies will be beneficial to securing permanent position
- Must be able to teach a dual-medium class
- Must have a reliable working phone capable of taking videos and photos for school portal
- Must have home access to a laptop and the internet for weekly lesson plan assistance, concert planning, etc.
- Must be reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Must have reliable transport to and from work
- Must be kind, patient and confident with young children
- Must be able to plan and assist with age-appropriate classroom activities
- Must have certified SAPS Police Clearance Certificate
- Must have a certified copy of your South African ID
- Must work well with children, parents and staff
- Valid First-Aid Certification is an advantage
Pay: R3 750,00 - R4 500,00 per month
