VACANCY: GROUP WORKSHOP MANAGER
The Diraro Group, a well-established group of companies, has an exciting opportunity for a Group Workshop Manager based in the Vaal Triangle. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to oversee workshop operations and ensure optimal performance of our fleet and maintenance teams.
The successful incumbent is required to possess and display the following qualities:
Minimum Requirements:
- Computer literate with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Valid Code EC (14) driver’s licence
- Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Red Seal)
- Knowledge and experience working with MAN and Volvo trucks will be advantageous
- Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in Workshop Management
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of ultra-heavy vehicles

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong operational proficiency, including planning, organization, and budget management
- Ability to work under pressure and outside normal working hours when required
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Plan, direct, and control daily workshop operations, including work-in-progress scheduling and ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Ensure vehicle maintenance and repairs are completed within required timeframes
- Financial & Resource Control: Manage workshop budgets, control maintenance costs, and oversee inventory levels to ensure operational efficiency
- Process Optimisation: Implement, monitor, and continuously improve workshop efficiency and quality control processes
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly reports as required by management
