- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (essential minimum).
- Certification in Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) (essential minimum).
- 6 to 8 years of experience in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) with proven expertise in solution architecture, preferably in mining or related industrial environments.
- Demonstrated experience in optimising business processes using technology within a mining environment.
- Strong knowledge of Physical Asset Management, Mining, Mineral Resources Management, Automation, and Operational Technology solutions.
- Experience in all phases of project life cycle: requirements analysis, design, implementation, and delivery.

- Preferred qualifications include Management Development Programme and ITIL Foundation certification.
- Desirable knowledge of COBIT 5 Foundation or similar governance frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills to build strategic partnerships, facilitate collaboration, and effectively engage diverse stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive business process architectures to ensure alignment of solutions with business requirements and processes.
- Investigate and analyse emerging solution trends, developing and managing a solution lifecycle plan that supports business objectives.
- Convert business and technical requirements into detailed architecture designs focused on Physical Asset Management, Mining, Mineral Resources Management, Automation, and Operational Technology solutions.
- Provide expert guidance and facilitate decision-making throughout design and delivery phases, ensuring solutions adhere to established architectural standards and quality criteria.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to ensure enterprise architecture standards are consistently applied across data analytics projects, enhancing business intelligence and decision-making capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with Information Management governance, statutory and legal requirements, continuously monitoring for risk and proposing corrective actions as needed.
- Promote and instill best practices by sharing knowledge and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives within the Information Management community.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to foster innovation, integration, and operational effectiveness across the organisation.
- Oversee the lifecycle management of core systems assets, optimising technology investments and facilitating collaboration to avoid duplicate efforts within ICT architecture.
- Uphold a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing compliance with Safety, Health, Environment and Community (SHEC) policies, fostering a culture of safety consciousness and ethical stewardship.
