Fluent Dutch speaker required. This is a must, not a nice-to-have.
Customer Support Specialist
- Salary: R297,000 - R415,800 / year
- Hours: Full-time
- Location: South Africa (remote, embedded with a Netherlands-based client)
Customer Support Specialist? We own it!
We are a fast-growing digital platform on a mission to make mental healthcare more accessible, and we are looking for a Customer Support Specialist who wants real ownership of the support function, not just a queue of tickets.
What do we offer you?
- A salary between R297,000 and R415,800 per year
- A full-time position with a stable, embedded role at a fast-growing healthcare platform
- A solo role with genuine ownership, backed by close support from the product team for technical depth
- Direct involvement in shaping process and product improvements, not just executing tasks
- The chance to work cross-functionally with product specialists on complex module and feature questions
- A varied mix of support, backoffice, and documentation work, so no two days look the same
What will you do?
- Handling support requests through the support portal and by phone
- Troubleshooting platform issues and guiding users step by step toward a solution
- Resolving incidents carefully while signaling recurring problems
- Translating patterns into concrete process and product improvements
- Keeping help articles and internal documentation accurate and up to date
- Handling backoffice tasks such as monthly billing data, reporting, and training administration
- Working directly with the product team on complex questions about modules and features
Who are you?
- Fluent in Dutch at C1/C2 level, written and spoken; this is non-negotiable since you will support Dutch healthcare users daily
- 2+ years of relevant experience in customer service, helpdesk, backoffice, or support
- A strong communicator across phone and written channels, with patience for users at different skill levels
- Proactive: you spot work that needs doing and pick it up without waiting
- Accurate and structured, comfortable balancing support tickets with administrative tasks
- Quick to learn new systems, and happy to help others get up to speed too
- Calm under pressure and flexible with ad-hoc requests
As Customer Support Specialist you are the day-to-day point of contact for users. You don't just close tickets, you own the support function: solving issues, spotting patterns, suggesting improvements, and keeping documentation sharp.
