We are looking for an organised, detail-oriented and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our Service Centre team.
This role plays an important part in ensuring that every repair entering and leaving the Service Centre is managed accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for coordinating the administration around repairs, collections, receiving and dispatch, while keeping customers informed throughout the repair journey.

Provide professional and efficient support to customers throughout the repair process.

Respond to customer queries and provide clear, accurate and timely updates.

Coordinate courier collections and follow up on outstanding collections.

Accurately capture and maintain repair and collection information on relevant systems.

Receive devices into the Service Centre and inspect parcels for damage, tampering or discrepancies.

Ensure devices are correctly booked into the system and allocated for repair.

Verify serial numbers, waybills, security seals and supporting documentation.

Prepare repaired devices for dispatch or customer collection.

Ensure waybills, shipping manifests, proof of delivery and dispatch information are completed accurately.

Ensure devices are appropriately and securely packaged before dispatch.

Process invoices and ensure payments have cleared before devices are released.

Complete daily banking and reconciliation-related administration.
-
Send customers updates relating to payment, collection and repair status.

Maintain accurate filing, reports and administrative records.
-
Monitor stationery and packaging requirements and assist with stock control.

Ensure all daily operational and administrative tasks are completed accurately and within required deadlines.
The position has a strong focus on customer satisfaction, accurate system information, same-day processing and effective management of collections, receiving and dispatch.

Matric is essential.

A relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous.

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar administrative or service centre role.

Strong administration and organisational skills.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Strong customer service orientation.

Ability to work against daily deadlines and operational targets.

Comfortable working in a high-volume, process-driven environment.

Experience using FileMaker and GSX, or similar ERP/CRM systems, would be advantageous.

Success will be measured through strong customer service, accurate administration, timely processing of repairs and collections, correct invoicing and payments, accurate receiving and dispatch records, and the ability to maintain high standards with minimal errors or outstanding administration. The KPA specifically sets expectations around customer response times, system accuracy, receiving and dispatch controls, invoicing, reconciliation and daily task completion.
