OMV, part of the Raubex Group, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Workshop Manager to lead and oversee workshop operations, ensuring the effective maintenance, repair, and servicing of our fleet, earthmoving equipment, and machinery. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing equipment reliability, availability, and operational efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications

Trade Test Certificate (Diesel Mechanic, Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic, or related trade)

Relevant supervisory or management qualification will be advantageous
Experience
-
Minimum 5 years' experience in a workshop maintenance environment

Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory or management role

Experience managing heavy-duty vehicles, mining equipment and earthmoving machinery

Experience on CAT 950L, CAT 966L, CAT D8R and FAW Trucks will be advantageous

Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, fleet management, and occupational health and safety requirements

Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems
Key Responsibilities

Manage daily workshop and fleet maintenance operations

Drive equipment availability, reliability, and operational efficiency
- Oversee preventative maintenance programes and maintenance planning

Monitor equipment health through telematics and condition monitoring systems

Manage Planned Component Replacements (PCRs) and major repairs

Oversee supplier performance, repairs, and warranty claims

Lead, supervise, and develop workshop personnel

Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and company standards

Compile and submit maintenance, fleet, and operational reports
