The purpose and role of a General Foreman is to ensure the delivery of projects safely, on time, within budget and snag free, responsible for scheduling, coordinating and supervising all site operatives, organise all site teams, control the overall project construction activities, responsible for placing of material & plant orders timeously, coordinating & implementation of the companies SHE procedures & policies, ensure implementation of the companies QMS procedures & policies, ensure that a quality product is achieved according to project specifications and good building practice.

Taking complete Responsibility & Accountability for the overall quality compliance of all areas under his/her control
Drives the construction process on site
Executes the project plan and program
