Key Responsibilities
Customer Coverage & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regional customers
- Conduct regular customer visits according to planned call cycles
- Act as the first point of contact for customer queries and issues
- Maintain close engagement with buyers, production supervisors, and store managers
Sales Execution & Order Generation
- Generate and capture customer orders
- Follow up on quotations, deliveries, and backorders
- Ensure compliance with pricing guidelines and commercial terms
- Support achievement of individual and regional sales targets
New Business & Lead Generation
- Identify new customers and applications within existing accounts
- Generate, qualify, and refer leads to KSMs and KAMs
- Support onboarding of new customers
Trial Support & Product Adoption
- Coordinate product samples and trials
- Support customers during testing and initial production runs
- Collaborate with technical teams to resolve application issues
- Ensure conversion of trials into repeat orders
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer developments
- Provide market feedback to KSMs, KAMs, and New Business Development teams
Customer Service & Administration
- Resolve or escalate delivery, quality, and pricing issues
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity tracking
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field
- 3–5 years’ experience in B2B sales
- Valid Code B driver’s licence
- Willingness to travel regionally
Advantageous
- Postgraduate qualification or management development programme
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or technical product environments
