Geologist
Bachelor of Science (BSc) Honours Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, or equivalent qualification.
Minimum: 10 years experience as an Engineering Geologist on underground works, dam construction, tunnelling, or other large civil infrastructure projects.
Registration with a recognised professional body (e.g. SACNASP or equivalent) will be an added advantage. Must have experience in geological mapping of tunnel faces and excavated rock surfaces, borehole logging, rock mass classification, and the application of the ISRM Suggested Methods and the Rock Tunnelling Quality Index (Q-System).
Must be able to prepare geological maps, maintain accurate geological records, and produce technical reports. Experience working on underground excavation and support class assessments for large infrastructure projects is essential. A valid driver's license is required.
Pay: R60 000,00 - R70 000,00 per month
