We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex, enterprise-wide technology programmes that drive business growth, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation within the Financial industry.

What You'll Be Doing
As our Program Manager, you will:
· Lead multiple strategic technology programmes from initiation through implementation.
· Align programme delivery with business strategy, digital transformation, and operational objectives.
· Coordinate cross-functional teams across Product, Technology, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and Finance.
· Manage programme schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and governance.
· Ensure delivery complies with regulatory and security requirements, including FSCA, SARB, POPIA, and PCI-DSS.
· Drive collaboration with legal, compliance, cybersecurity, and architecture teams throughout programme delivery.
· Oversee enterprise system implementations, API integrations, platform upgrades, and third-party vendor delivery.
· Monitor programme performance, report to executive stakeholders, and provide clear visibility of progress, risks, and key milestones.
· Support operational readiness through training, documentation, change management, cutover planning, and post-go-live support.
· Manage relationships with cloud providers, payment processors, banking partners, fraud prevention platforms, and other technology vendors.
What We're Looking For
· Minimum 6 years' experience managing software or technology projects.
· Minimum 3 years' experience managing large-scale technical programmes.
· Experience delivering multiple concurrent system implementation projects.
· Experience working within financial services, fintech, payments, banking, or a similarly regulated industry.
· Client-facing project delivery experience.
· Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
· Proven ability to manage budgets, risks, governance, and executive stakeholder relationships.
· Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles and technology delivery.
Technical Knowledge
Experience or knowledge of:
· Cloud platforms
· APIs and system integrations
· Cybersecurity principles
· Data architecture
· Enterprise software delivery
· Financial regulations and compliance
· Risk management
· Programme governance
Experience with card issuing, payment processing, or card-based solutions will be highly advantageous.
Qualifications
· Relevant degree or diploma in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
· PMP certification is essential.
· Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, or SAFe certifications will be advantageous.
