A strong and passionate wine specialist who understands the art and science of wine tasting and wine service. This is a highly skilled and professioanl restaurant team who pride themselves in achieving top service accolades to match the artistic level of the cuisine.
REQUIREMENTS:
At least 4 years work experience in elegant / fine dining restaurant operations
WSET / Cape Wine Academy Qualifications essential
Operational & technical strengths in presenting & serving a wide range of quality / high-price signature wines
Young and bubbly personality with exceptional people skills
Proficient in up-selling signature wines and excellent knowledge of fine dining cuisines
Excellent admin and computer proficiency with strong point of sale knowledge
Proven success in managing and controlling wine and beverage stock
A hands-on Sommelier who's passionate about this industry
