The Role
A position has become available at a gas and plumbing firm to grow the company as branch manager. You will be responsible for the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Grow the branch and maintain client relations.
- Manage the staff and deal with their needs.
- Keep a daily roster of jobs to which staff will be assigned.
- Manage branch operations and travel arrangements.
- Manage orders and ensure that they will be dealt with timeously.
- Perform quotes and follow up on them.
- Tend to any client queries.
- Daily interaction with CEO.
- Drive sales and grow the client base.
Skills and Experience
REQUIREMENTS:
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Target driven personality.
- Strong operational, marketing and logistical ability.
- Ability to deal with clients – excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
- Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Knowledge of the gas industry, preferably as a practitioner, but not necessarily a must.
- Knowledge of the plumbing industry essential
- Sober habits
- Healthy and enthusiastic
