Hospitality experience essential
The duties include but are not limited to:
- Compilation & management of the day-to-day sales, marketing & financial information databases & reports.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of information intelligence over all aspects of the business.
- Collecting and generating intelligence from multiple sources such as eRES, OPERA, Apex & other Hospitality Platforms.
- Isolate, analyze and report on vital information in a timely manner that is used to direct business decisions.
- Data entry into databases, spreadsheets or word processing programs, working with client data & financial records, sales information or market intelligence.
- Basic bookkeeping requirements as support for the finance team.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
- Microsoft Office inclusive of MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint – advanced Excel knowledge is critical
- Knowledge of CRM & Hospitality Reservations / PMS systems would be greatly beneficial.
- Current systems being used include NEBULA, APEX, OPERA, ERES
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
The requirements include the following:
- Matric minimum
- 2-3 years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry is crucial so as to understand the business
- Tertiary education would be advantageous
- Solid interpersonal skills
- Valid RSA ID
- Dynamic
- Self-Starter
- Problem Solving
- Team Player
- Flexible
- Presentable
Excellent communication & organization skills
- Must have a good command of the English language with good writing skills.
SALARY - Salary negotiable within reason & dependent on experience and qualifications
- 5% Provident – forms part of CTC package (compulsory membership)
- Medical aid for individual only, restricted to Classic Saver or below option on Discovery – forms part of CTC package (voluntary membership)
- The remuneration will be discussed at the interviews or upon individual requests
