Sales Executive
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving sales growth through proactive prospecting and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business through cold calling, prospecting, networking, and door-to-door client visits.
- Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Follow up promptly on quotations, tenders, and sales opportunities to maximize conversion rates.
- Identify customer needs and present suitable products and services.
- Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with potential and existing clients.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Achieve agreed sales targets and performance objectives.
- Attend weekly office meetings for administration, planning, and sales reviews.
- Represent the company professionally at all times while in the field.
- Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in external sales, business development, or a similar role.
- Strong prospecting and lead-generation skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and own car
Working Environment:
- Primarily field-based, spending most of the time visiting potential clients and generating new business opportunities.
- Required to attend the office once per week for administrative duties, reporting, and team meetings.
Performance Expectations:
- Monthly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) will be discussed and agreed upon before the signing of the employment contract.
Remuneration:
- Competitive basic salary plus commission structure based on performance.
Pay: R15 000,00 - R20 000,00 per hour
Education:
- High School (matric) (Preferred)
Experience:
