Requirements:
Lecturer:
Academic route: A Master of Laws degree and two years of teaching experience. The candidate should be an attorney with a letter of good standing from the LPC.
Professional route: A Master of Laws degree with five years post-admission experience. The candidate should be an admitted attorney with a letter of good standing from the LPC.
Duties:
Teach the Clinical Legal Education module to final year law students.
Conduct and teach practical training of law students.
Actively participate in school and departmental activities, including committee work
To conduct research and supervise students
To represent indigent law clinic clients in legal matters
To coordinate programmes, develop the curriculum, establish linkages with other academic institutions and community structures, and actively participate in community engagement initiatives.
