We are looking for someone with the right attitude and aptitude. We will consider candidates with no direct investment experience, where they have the raw material to develop into world-class analysts; as well as experienced investment professionals with demonstrable research acumen.
The individual will form part of Coronation’s Global Developed Markets team, which is responsible for Coronation’s global portfolios. As an analyst, the primary responsibility is investment research of listed global companies. The global team of nine individuals is Cape Town based but some international travel (anywhere from one to three trips per year) will be required as part of the role.
Fundamental Analysis:
- Conduct deep-dive, bottom-up research into global listed companies.
Financial Modeling & Evaluation:
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, perform rigorous valuations, and author investment reports on assigned stocks.
Investment Recommendations:
- Formulate and present investment cases to the broader team.
Active Debate:
- Contribute meaningfully to teamwide investment debates, challenging assumptions and refining the team’s collective view.
Ongoing Monitoring:
- Maintain rigorous oversight of priority companies through management interactions, research calls, and critical evaluation of third-party data.

Academic Excellence: A completed bachelor’s degree in Business Science, Engineering, Science, or Commerce.
