About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead the sales department for new vehicles at Haval Kempton Park. This role focuses on driving sales performance, managing the sales team, and enhancing customer satisfaction while aligning with the dealership’s objectives. You will play a vital role in maximizing sales opportunities and fostering a high-performance sales culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets for new vehicles.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to enhance performance and meet dealership goals.
- Drive customer engagement initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the new vehicle segment.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to make informed business decisions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a premium buying experience.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on sales activities, forecasts, and challenges.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in sales management, ideally within the automotive sector.
- Strong understanding of new vehicle sales processes and customer relationship management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build partnerships with customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights to drive sales performance.
- Proficient in using CRM systems and sales management tools.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous experience with Haval or a similar automotive brand.
- Knowledge of the South African automotive market and consumer behaviour.
- Additional certifications in sales or customer service excellence.
