About the role
- Strategic, creative Social Media Manager to own and elevate our social presence
- Set strategy, lead content planning, manage budgets and campaigns
- Build brand authority in a competitive Sydney property and finance market
- Blend creative flair with commercial thinking in a compliance-sensitive space
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with business and marketing goals
- Own the content calendar across all channels
- Lead, mentor, and review the Social Media Editor and any contractors
- Plan and manage paid social campaigns (Meta, LinkedIn, and others), including budget and optimisation
- Grow engaged, high-quality audiences that convert into property and finance leads
- Analyse performance data and deliver regular reports with actionable insights
- Partner with sales, product, and compliance teams on listings, products, and thought leadership
- Manage influencer and partnership relationships
- Stay ahead of platform changes, trends, and competitor activity
- Help lead responses to reputational or communications issues on social
Skills and qualifications
- Degree in marketing, communications, business, or related discipline
- 4+ years of social media experience, including 1–2 years in a management/strategic role
- Proven track record growing audiences and running paid social campaigns
- Strong analytical skills (Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management abilities
- Experience managing budgets and reporting on ROI
Desirable attributes
- Experience in property, real estate, banking, mortgage broking, or financial services
- Working knowledge of Australian financial/property promotion regulations (ASIC, ACCC, advertising standards)
- Established connections in the Sydney property or finance community
- Data-driven yet creative mindset
Pay: R160 000,00 - R230 000,00 per year
