KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To keep stock of production consumable records e.g. production recording books. This includes issuing new books when required.
- Provide first-line technical support to users.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Assist with software installations, upgrades, and updates.
- Log and resolve IT helpdesk tickets within agreed timelines.
- Set up new user accounts, email profiles, and workstations.
- Support Microsoft Office 365 applications and basic Windows administration.
- Assist with network connectivity and printer-related issues.
- Maintain accurate IT asset registers and equipment inventory.
- Assist with IT procurement, stock control, and equipment distribution.
- Document IT support activities and maintain accurate records.
- Support routine system maintenance and backups.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and information security procedures.
- Provide general administrative support to the IT department.
Based on the Business Process Management (BPM) processes the job holder is responsible for:
S6 (Assure product conformity)
- S6.3 Responsible to comply with all Hygiene requirements in the plant.
- S6.2 Support complaint handling by reporting all identified non-conformities and support in the implementation of effective corrective actions determined by the process owner, when needed.
S10 (Ensure occupational health, safety and environment)
- Ensure that HSE compliance in own area of responsibility.
- Report any incident or unsafe conditions seen in the plant/ work area.
REQUIREMENTS
- Aged between 18 and 34.
- Must be Unemployed.
- Must not have taken part on the YES Programme before
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- CompTIA A+ Certification (required).
- CompTIA Network+ (N+) Certification (required or advantageous, depending on your preference).
- Microsoft Windows 10/11
- Microsoft Office 365
- PC hardware and software troubleshooting
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi)
- Printers and peripheral devices
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver's licence will be advantageous.
