We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a forklift to support our Cosmo City Warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift safely to load, unload, move, and stack stock
- Ensure accurate handling and placement of goods
- Ensure stock is stored correctly using the FIFO principle
- Assist with receiving, dispatching, and stock control
- Conduct daily forklift inspections and report any faults
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Comply with health and safety regulations at all times
- Work with the warehouse team to support efficient operations
- Perform any other duties assigned by management
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid forklift driver licence (essential)
- At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment
- Reach Truck experience will be an advantage
- Good understanding of warehouse and safety procedures
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Team player with a strong work ethic
Advantageous:
- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment
- Reside in Cosmo City
