Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and organised Entry-Level Storekeeper to join our workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and controlling stock used in the repair and maintenance of trailers. The role also includes assisting with job cards and ensuring accurate stock records are maintained.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Previous experience in a stores or workshop environment will be advantageous
- Basic knowledge of stock control and inventory management
- Good administrative and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work accurately and pay attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to think critically and solve problems
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office experience is advantageous)
- Reliable, honest, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and pack incoming stock
- Issue parts and materials against workshop job cards
- Pick and prepare stock for workshop use
- Ensure all stock is correctly allocated, labelled, and barcoded
- Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock takes
- Monitor and maintain minimum and maximum stock levels
- Ensure the storeroom is kept clean, organised, and secure
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times

- High School (matric) (Required)
