CONTEXT | YOUR IMPACT
ReturnX is looking for a high-energy and driven individual to join our young, dynamic, and growth-focused team based in Johannesburg, South Africa with a client base around the globe. The Sales Representative is responsible for selling the company's B2B online digital services by identifying leads, building sales pipeline, educating prospects on our services through calls and online video chats, presentations, and closing sales.
In order to be successful in this role, the sales representative will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, superb interpersonal skills, as well as a broad understanding of online digital marketing and advertising.
TRANSPORT
- Must have a drivers’ licence and own vehicle, however during lockdown we are all working remotely.
- Must be comfortable with travelling 80% of the time and office-based 20% of time (once lockdown is over)
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Minimum 5 years sales experience (local digital agency environment is a huge advantage)
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
- Previous work experience with CRM to maintain and keep track of all sales-related activities (Salesforce is a plus)
- Excellent written communication
- MS Office Suite (Intermediate essential)
- Must be able to work remotely with a strong and stable Internet connectivity (fibre is a plus).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets & objectives
- Prospect and qualify new sales leads
- Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects
- Create, plan, and constantly deliver presentations on the company's services to a range of prospective clients
- Negotiate contracts with prospective clients and close the deal
- Grow, manage & maintain strong business relationships with prospects and existing clients
- Identify new business opportunities across the business’ client base and convert additional opportunities into sales.
- Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort
