Minimum Requirement
- Trade Tested qualification essential.
- Minimum 5 -year experience post trade within a Food/FMCG industry.
- Baking industry experience would be an advantage.
- Hands on knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems.
- Experience with scales, speed drives, pneumatic, electrical, instrumentation and hydraulics.
- Must be able to read and update electrical drawings.
- Experience with electrical power distribution (medium and low voltage).
- Knowledge of safety checks on mechanical equipment in accordance with OHSA.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and adjust, when necessary, plant set points to ensure effective and efficient running of plants.
- Inspection of all electrical and mechanical equipment on bakery site.
- Monitor and inspect plant for potential and existing defects.
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Fault finding and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Installation and project work as required.
- Check report books daily and liaise with Maintenance Manager on action to be taken on reported defects.
- Report any defects noticed while performing normal functions.
- Perform breakdown functions on electrical and mechanical equipment at the Bakery.
