Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
- Perform accurate and timeous analyses on various samples to meet SLA requirements.
- Maintain equipment to working condition as per schedule and conduct trouble shooting prior to escalating when necessary.
- Perform various administrative activities as and when required.
- Work according to policies, procedures and CAM to maintain various systems applied – ISO 9001/FSSC22000/17025
- Proactively participate in problem solving and identify risk /improvement opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with various teams.
- Participate in proficiency testing scheme as per lab requirements.
- Optimize use of lab resource-consumables etc.
- Participate in internal audits.
- Act as Senior Lab Analyst when required.
The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:
- National Diploma in Food Technology or Microbiology or equivalent qualification.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities are essential.
- Computer literacy, preferably MS Office; LIMS and SAP will be considered advantageous
