Job Title: Food Service Dietitian
Reports to: Catering Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Food Service Dietitian to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our food services meet the nutritional needs of our patients, while also providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutrition assessments and develop personalized meal plans
- Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and prepare healthy, balanced menus
- Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions, allergies, and cultural preferences
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients, families, and staff
- Develop and implement nutrition programs and policies
- Monitor and evaluate food service operations to ensure quality and safety standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay up-to-date with latest nutrition research and trends
Requirements:
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
- Experience in food service management and clinical nutrition
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Computer literacy and proficiency in nutrition software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Certification in food service management or a related field
