Position: SECURITY OFFICER (ACCESS CONTROL)
Location: St Albans, Gqeberha
We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Officer to manage access control during the day at our concrete batch plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Control and monitor access at the main gate of the plant
- Verify identification of employees, contractors, and visitors
- Record all vehicle and personnel movements in the access register/system
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles entering and leaving site where required
- Enforce site security procedures and company policies
- Report any suspicious behaviour, incidents, or security breaches immediately
- Assist in maintaining a safe and secure working environment
Minimum Requirements
- Valid PSIRA registration (Grade D or E minimum required)
- Previous experience in access control or site security (industrial/site environment preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and high level of integrity
- Ability to communicate clearly and maintain professionalism with staff and visitors

Pay: R300,00 - R315,00 per day
Experience:
- security officer: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- PSIRA certificate (Preferred)
