Job Title: Finance Executive / Senior Accountant (SaaS)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Executive with strong QuickBooks experience to manage our daily financial operations, accounting workflows, and financial reporting. In this role, you will handle full-cycle SaaS accounting, track key subscription metrics, and optimize our financial processes to support company growth.
Key Responsibilities
- SaaS Accounting & Revenue Recognition: Oversee accounts payable/receivable (AP/AR), track recurring subscription billing, and apply ASC 606 revenue recognition guidelines for deferred revenue.
- Bookkeeping & Reconciliations: Maintain the general ledger in QuickBooks, conduct monthly bank/credit card reconciliations, and manage integrations with payment processors.
- SaaS Metrics & Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) while tracking key metrics like ARR/MRR, Churn, CAC, and LTV.
- Payroll & Cash Flow Management: Process payroll, manage working capital, and build accurate cash flow forecasts to support operational planning.
- Compliance & Tax: Coordinate year-end tax prep and audit reviews with external CPAs while ensuring local, state, and federal tax compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of accounting/finance experience, preferably within a SaaS or subscription-based business model.
- Software Expertise: Hands-on proficiency in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) and advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling).
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of GAAP principles, general ledger management, deferred revenue accounting, and financial reporting.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, high attention to detail, and clear communication skills.
Pay: R15 089,90 - R20 036,32 per month
