We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations, performance and profitability of our retail stores. This is a leadership role for an experienced retail professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving sales and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Applicants must be 27 years or older
- Must have a valid driver's licence and own reliable transport (essential)
- Minimum 3 years' experience managing a retail store or leading a retail team
- Proven experience in staff management, coaching and performance development
- Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience with retail POS systems, stock control and cash handling
- Comfortable travelling between store locations as required
- Knowledge of the cannabis industry is advantageous but not essential
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of a retail location
- Ensure consistent delivery of outstanding customer service
- Conduct regular store visits, operational audits and performance reviews
- Oversee stock management, merchandising and inventory control
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Recruit, train and onboard new team members
- Resolve operational issues efficiently and maintain high retail standards
- Provide regular feedback to senior management
