VACANCY: AUTO-ELECTRICIAN (YELLOW PLANT)

Project Reporting to: Workshop Manager
Intertrading Africa (Pty) Ltd invites suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the position of Auto Electrician (Yellow Plant).
Minimum Requirements
- Trade Test Certificate as an Auto-Electrician (advantageous).
- Minimum 5–8 years' experience working on yellow plant equipment.
- Proven experience on excavators, loaders, graders, recyclers, and similar heavy earthmoving equipment.
Valid driver's licence and Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on yellow plant equipment.
- Service and maintain electrical systems, wiring, batteries, alternators, starters, and lighting.
- Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve electrical issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance and attend to equipment breakdowns.
- Comply with health, safety, and company procedures.
- Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams while accurately completing job cards and maintenance reports.

- Electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
