Role Requirements
To thrive in this role, you must hold a National Certificate and be registered with the HPCSA as a Medical Technician or National Diploma in Medical Technology (Histology) and be registered with the HPCSA as a Medical Technologist (Histology) or BHs MLS (Degree in Bachelor of Health Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences with registration at the HPCSA as a Medical Laboratory Scientist. These qualifications are essential, forming the foundation of your professional credibility and technical capability. You bring with you three years of hands-on screening experience, which has shaped your confidence, sharpened your judgement, and deepened your understanding. This experience is not just a number, it is a testament to your commitment to excellence and your readiness to lead others in delivering high-quality diagnostic services.

Your communication skills allow you to connect meaningfully with colleagues and clients, in English. You are comfortable with numerical reasoning, able to perform basic calculations with ease, and your computer literacy ensures you can navigate digital systems efficiently.
