- Grade 12
- Valid Code EB (8) Drivers Licence
- Acceptable level of computer literacy (MS Office package)
- Good verbal and nonverbal communication skills
- Receiving orders and packaging them, storing them properly till they are issued to the main user.
- Receiving Groceries, counting grocery stock and packaging correctly. Capture received/ counted stock in the Grocery stock sheet on share drive.
- Accurately counting assets in the storerooms and on the floor.
- Monthly inspection of boardroom equipment and testing if there are any technical glitches, completing all checklist by recording the actual information. Vehicle checklist, Boardroom equipment checklist.
- Logging tickets with Eris or correct service provider to fix malfunctioning equipment, follow up on logged tickets until they are closed.
- Tagging new assets/ equipment and keeping record of asset numbers for future reference.
- Taking contractors through the building to complete tasks and signing job cards after the job has been completed.
- Scan and email the copy of job card to Eris/ relevant service provider.
- Assisting with lockers and minor maintenance work in the building.
- Measuring space occupied by certain departments when need arises.
- Daily building inspection to follow up on open tickets and complete a snag list of items that need to be fixed.
- Closing OMT tickets on time, following the 24-hr turnaround time after resolution of the logged issue.
- Supervising function set up, cleaning and clearing after events.
- Always keeping storerooms and workstations tidy neat and presentable.
- Make deliveries to destinations as per business requirement prioritising the urgent delivery first and completing with the less urgent.
- Assisting with new workstations set up or upgrades.
- Making sure that dry goods are kept in the basement 1 storeroom and consumables are kept in the Facilities Management storeroom.
- Allocating asset numbers to newly purchased assets and keeping records with the serial numbers.
- Action tasks related to Ziyawa/Team building/Year end functions to ensure success of functions.
- Action ad hoc projects and tasks to support business in their quest to give clients great customer service.
