· Assist Bids department with SHEQ tender requirements.
· Implement and maintain relevant SHEQ systems
· Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s safety policies and procedures.
· Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace.
· Recommend corrective actions to mitigate identified risks.
· Perform regular safety inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes.
· Document findings and ensure that any violations are addressed promptly.
· Investigate accidents, injuries, and near-misses to determine causes.
· Prepare detailed reports and recommend preventive measures to avoid future incidents.
· Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees.
· Ensure that all staff are aware of safety protocols and procedures.
· Develop and implement emergency response plans.
· Organize regular emergency drills, such as fire drills or evacuation exercises.
· Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant health and safety regulations.
· Ensure that all safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers, alarms, and personal protective equipment (PPE), is available, in good condition, and used correctly.
· Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, audits, training sessions, and incident reports.
· Ensure documentation is readily accessible for review by management and regulatory authorities.
· Promote health and well-being initiatives to reduce workplace stress and improve employee health.
