A four-star hotel in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town is looking for a dedicated and experienced Night Manager to oversee the hotel’s operations during the night shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management and excellent problem-solving skills.
Duties and Responsibilities

Overseeing all hotel operations during the night shift

Managing guest check-ins and check-outs

Handling guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly

Ensuring security protocols are followed and addressing any security concerns

Coordinating with other departments to maintain high service standards

Conducting nightly audits and preparing reports for management

Supervising night staff and ensuring smooth handover to day shift

Managing any emergencies or unforeseen situations that arise during the night
Requirements

Must be in Cape Town to attend face-to-face interviews

Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role at a 4/5* hotel

Valid drivers license and a reliable car

Strong leadership and decision-making abilities

Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation

Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office

Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively

Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work night shifts

Reside in or be willing to commute to the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town
