We are looking for experienced Level 2 and Level 3 Network Engineers for a 6-month contract based in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide Level 2 / Level 3 network support within complex enterprise environments
* Troubleshoot and resolve LAN, WAN and connectivity issues
* Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls and network infrastructure
* Support routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, DNS and DHCP
* Monitor network availability, performance and capacity
* Perform network changes, upgrades and maintenance
* Troubleshoot complex network incidents and implement permanent resolutions
* Support incident, problem and change management processes
* Maintain network documentation and configurations
* Work closely with infrastructure, security and other technical teams
Technical Skills
* Cisco routing and switching
* TCP/IP, LAN/WAN and VLAN technologies
* OSPF and BGP
* VPN technologies
* Firewalls and network security
* DNS and DHCP
* Wireless networking
* Network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
* Strong enterprise networking experience
Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, SD-WAN and cloud networking will be advantageous.
Experience
Level 2: 3–5+ years’ relevant network engineering/support experience.
Level 3: 5–8+ years’ relevant network engineering experience with strong advanced troubleshooting capabilities.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet, Palo Alto or equivalent will be advantageous.

* Willing to undergo relevant background and verification checks
* Available for a 6-month contract
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
