A food and spice blending manufacturer; situated in Johannesburg. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate and timely account reconciliations
- Manage accounts receivable and collections, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of outstanding balances
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports
- Process journals, accruals, and adjustments
- Assist with cash flow management and forecasting
- Maintain strong financial controls and compliance
- Support audits and year-end processes
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders as required
Minimum Requirements:
- Accounting qualification (Diploma/Degree or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in an accounting role
- Strong reconciliation skills with excellent attention to detail
- Solid collections and credit control experience
- Experience in a manufacturing or wholesale environment will be advantageous
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills
