Assistant Food & Beverage Manager – Lagos, Nigeria
We are looking for a skilled Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join the team at a premier hotel in Lagos, Nigeria, featuring 400 rooms, several F&B outlets, and extensive function facilities. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and managing diverse dining operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the F&B Director in overseeing daily operations across multiple dining outlets and function facilities.
- Ensure high standards of service and presentation are maintained in all F&B areas.
- Support the management of a large team, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and service teams to deliver seamless guest experiences.
- Manage inventory, control costs, and maintain budgetary compliance.
- Develop and implement innovative F&B concepts and promotions to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
- Monitor and enforce health and safety standards in all F&B operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a large hotel or resort setting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple F&B outlets and large-scale function facilities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Experience with budget management and cost control.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Familiarity with local market trends and guest preferences.
- Fluency in English is required.
