The sales representative position will be responsible for initialising new sales, managing sales pipelines, building relationships with existing customers and increasing our market share within the FMCG industry. They will be required to work closely, but not exclusively, with our distributors, promoting sales of our trusted products. In addition, they will need to establish new customers and expand our existing market share
Responsibilities
- Strong product knowledge to generate leads in order to achieve and close sales
- Promote, present and sell our products to new and existing customers
- Reach out to potential customers through cold calling
- Establish a solid working relationship with our distributors, promoting sales and increasing product awareness via this channel
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets
- Stay abreast of market and competitor trends and changes
- Manage territory, providing sales updates to other team members and management
