As of 2019, Hisense's refrigerators had a sales volume share of 29% and ranked first in the South African market, with sales revenue also at 26% and ranking first. Hisense's televisions had a sales volume share of 26% and ranked first in the South African market, with sales revenue at 24% and ranking second.
Key Account Manager Mobile
Job Description:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including telecom operators and major retailers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all mobile-related business with these accounts.
- Understand the business needs of each key account and align Hisense’s offerings to meet those needs.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and market share growth within assigned accounts.
- Collaborate with the sales team to execute promotional activities and product launches.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to adjust strategies and drive continuous improvement in sales performance.
- Collaborate with the supply chain and product management teams to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory management.
- Monitor and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring a consistent flow of product to meet customer demand.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and updates to the National Sales Manager.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with key accounts to secure favorable agreements for Hisense.
- Ensure all contracts and agreements are aligned with company policies and objectives.
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure cohesive and aligned strategies.
- Coordinate with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products to key accounts.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales performance, market share, and account growth.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on how to improve account performance.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences within the mobile industry.
- Use this information to inform sales strategies and account management practices.
Recruitment Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in key account management,
- Experience working in a similar industry (preferably within mobile or electronics)
- Proven track record of managing and growing key accounts.
- Experience working with major retail chains is highly desirable.
