A position for a Group Development Chef is available with a multi-restaurant owner in Gauteng. We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious candidate who holds a formal culinary qualification. Applicants should have at least 8 years of senior chef experience in an à la carte restaurant environment. A comprehensive understanding of current food trends and cuisines is required.
The role will primarily involve menu planning and recipe development, as well as the rollout of menus across the restaurant group. The successful candidate will be adept at training chefs and cooks, as well as overseeing food quality control within the group. Only experienced candidates with strong references will be considered; those with a history of job hopping or consulting experience need not apply. Candidates must possess excellent cooking and analytical skills, along with the capability to meet deadlines.
