- Civil Engineering Lecturer
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma/Degree in: Civil Engineering
- 2 years teaching/ lecturing or facilitation experience.
- 2 years Industry experience advantageous.
- Qualification in Education (PGCE/Facilitator/Assessor/Moderator) an added advantage.
- Online lecturing and learning management systems (LMSs) experience an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Administrative or clerical, and strong organisational skills
- Good command of English, good verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lecturing Civil Engineering Subjects
- Teaching, learning and Assessments both contact and via online platforms
- Content development to support teaching and learning
- Marking and diagnostic analysis of Test to provide support and feedback
- Career Guidance and Invigilation
- Ensuing all student portfolios and lecturer’s portfolios are kept up to date
- Facilitating practical work in well-equipped workshops
- Plan and conduct practical sessions, laboratory exercises, and workshops to reinforce theoretical concepts and develop students' practical skills in civil engineering
- Lesson Preparation.
- Lesson Delivery in class.
