Purpose
Assist in production and work with managers to plan and manage production efficiently by reviewing production plans and outcomes to identify and report risks and develop inventory control techniques to avoid shortages and overs while controlling production costs and maintaining the quality standards.
KEY PERFORMANCE OUTPUTS
- Ensure proper and accurate production assessments
- Liaise with all departments to ensure proper documentation is maintained for ERP processing.
- Liaise with all departments to ensure optimal performance of the production function and production reporting.
- Maintain all documentation required for due diligence.
- Report on Production Variances, Production Yields, Production Waste, Production Completeness and stock to identify gaps
- Review production paperwork for completeness, accuracy, consistency and verification of figures
- Ensure production is properly captured on the database or ERP system.
- Reconcile production on the ERP and check all variances
- Ensure and reconcile all stock movement for
- Production on the ERP system.
- Record and reconcile product yields and waste on the ERP system
- Maintain and ensure all Production Jobs are accurately and timeously completed on the ERP system.
- Creating jobs in SYSPRO
- Printing of Job Cards from the TransLution system and ensuring that these are accurate
- Ensure that each job is debriefed with the team
- Ensure that the job completion is done timeously on the TransLution system.
- Comply with the necessary Occupational Health and Safety requirements
- Ensure compliance to all food safety regulations, allergen control, housekeeping and pest control
- Participate in personal hygiene checks
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2-5 years’ experience in FMCG industry
- Relevant Degree or Diploma in Production Management
- Understanding of Food manufacturing and production
- Working experience of an ERP system i.e. SAP, Syspro etc
- Good excel skills
