Junior Graphic & Social Media Design Assistant (Part-Time Contract)
Location: Remote (Gauteng-based preferred)
Contract: 3 Months Salary: R2,000 per month Hours: Flexible
Pixel Art Studios is a growing creative studio specialising in marketing, branding, content creation and architectural design. We're looking for a creative, reliable and self-motivated Design Assistant to join our team on a flexible part-time basis.

This is an opportunity to work on real client projects, gain practical industry experience, and build your portfolio while working alongside a growing creative team.
Responsibilities
Design social media content for a variety of brands and industries
Create posts, stories, carousel graphics and promotional material
Perform basic photo editing, retouching and image enhancement
Adapt artwork for different platforms and formats
Assist with content creation and campaign assets
Follow creative briefs and brand guidelines Manage deadlines and project deliverables
Communicate clearly regarding project progress and delivery
Fluent in English, both written and spoken Strong communication skills
Previous graphic design and/or social media content creation experience
Portfolio showcasing your work
Proficiency in Canva Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Strong attention to detail Reliable and deadline-driven
Ability to follow a brief accurately
Advantageous Skills
Lightroom experience
Basic video editing skills
Experience creating content for brands or businesses
Understanding of current social media trends and content formats
Equipment Requirements
Own laptop or desktop computer
Own Adobe Creative Cloud subscription
Reliable internet connection Suitable remote working environment
