Our client is a leading educational institution partnering with Coursera.org to offer Microsoft-branded short courses. Their mission is to provide high-quality, accessible education to learners around the world.
About the role:
They are seeking experienced Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support them with course development and instruction for their Microsoft-branded short courses on Coursera.org on a freelance basis, after hours. The ideal candidates will have deep expertise in one or more of the following areas:
1. Developing with GitHub Copilot and VS Code
2. Microsoft Security Copilot
3. Generative AI for Data Science
4. Configure SIEM security operations using Microsoft Sentinel
5. Configure secure access to your workloads using Azure networking
6. Deploy and configure Azure Monitor
7. Deploy containers by using Azure Kubernetes Service
8. Develop an ASP.NET Core web app that consumes an API
9. Secure Azure services and workloads with Microsoft Defender for Cloud regulatory compliance controls
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with their instructional design team to develop course content and learning objectives
- Create engaging and informative video lectures and demonstrations
- Provide guidance and feedback on course materials and assessments
- Participate in course updates and revisions as needed
Requirements:
- Ability to work on the project after hours as a freelance opportunity
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Subject Matter Expert in the relevant technical field(s)
- Relevant certifications in the relevant technical field(s)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with online learning platforms
