Job Title: Food Sales Assistant Job Summary We are looking for one reliable, friendly, and hardworking Food Sales Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, selling, and serving food to customers while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment. Key Responsibilities - Sell fatcakes, sliced polony, kotas, chips, and the plate of the day. - Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. - Prepare and package food orders accurately. - Handle cash and process customer payments correctly. - Keep the food preparation and serving areas clean and hygienic. - Restock ingredients and supplies when needed. - Monitor food quality and ensure products are fresh. - Follow food safety and hygiene standards. - Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the employer. Requirements - Good communication and customer service skills. - Honest, reliable, and punctual. - Able to work in a fast-paced environment. - Basic cash handling skills are an advantage. - Previous experience in food sales or customer service is beneficial but not required. Working Hours Working hours will be discussed with the successful candidate and may include weekends and public holidays, depending on business needs.
Pay: R400,00 - R800,00 per week
