A five-star establishment based in Limpopo, Lephalale area, is looking for a dynamic Hotel Sales Executive to join their team. The individual will be required to be based in Pretoria and be willing to travel to Polokwane on a bi-weekly basis.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.

A tertiary qualification in Hospitality, Marketing or a related field will be an advantage.

2 – 3 years experience in a similar sales role within the hospitality industry at a 4-5* Property.

Valid drivers licence and Own vehicle.

The ability to work independently. Attend weekly Teams meeting, and bi-weekly meetings in Polokwane

Excellent interpersonal and negotiation Skills.

Attentive to customer needs and customer satisfaction.

Knowledge of market trends and social media platforms.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Implement effective sales strategies to maximize Hotel occupancy and revenue.

Create promotional material and marketing campaigns to attract suited clientele.

Research new markets and business opportunities to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

Represent Hotels in various exhibition events, trade shows, and networking events.

Manage and maintain a comprehensive database of potential and existing clients.

Prepare sales proposals to potential clients, highlighting the best features and qualities of the Hotel.

Review the customer service quality of the Hotel to ensure customers are tended to properly and resolve customer complaints.

Create and maintain customer loyalty by providing excellent customer service and building sustainable relationships with clients

Strengthen relationships with existing customers to enable future bookings.

Set annual sales budgets, reports and forecast.

Implement effective strategies for achieving sales targets. Conduct assessment of sales performance and implement improvements to sales processes and strategies.

Work closely with Revenue Manager to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the hotels.
